Patience is a Virtue

When I got injured back in 2011 I had no idea it would take so long to get treated. Here I am almost a year and a half later and things are finally moving forward.

It's taken many sleepless nights and countless tears to realize that patience is what I need to mentally get through this.

Yesterday I had a regular follow up with my doctor and got the news that after many attempts to get approved, I'm finally getting a procedure done that will help manage my pain better. It's like a bandaid. Not a complete fix but it should help some.

Today was the day of my procedure. I got put under and have been swollen, sore and loopy all day. No complaints here though! I can't wait to see the results in the next couple days. Hoping to get some relief.

I'll be sure to continue to track my progress here and appreciate all my readers for your support. It means a lot.

My accessory for the day. :)

Lazy Days

Happy Sunday friends!

My husband and I are spending the day with my Dad. He likes to see us about once a week and make us breakfast. I'm a Daddy's girl and love to spend time with him. He lights up everytime he sees Rocky and that makes me so happy.

We picked up some Starbucks and I got my Chai Soy Latte fix for the month. Love that stuff!

Rocky and I went outside and got some Vitamin D. It is such a beautiful day here in California. I love this place sometimes! ;)

I hope you are having a great weekend! :)

Friday's Letters

Dear February, you are half way done and I am so thankful for everything that has happened in this month so far. I got great news from my doctor, celebrated a lovely belated anniversary with my man and still have more to do before the month is done!

Sushi anniversary date with my wonderful husband. Yum!

Dear Rocky, thank you for being the best dog I could have ever asked for. I love you so much and love our time together. You are always there for me and know when to give me kisses when I'm upset.

Dear Wan, I love you so much. You are always there for me and provide me with strength when I feel too weak. You are the best husband I could have ever asked for and I am truly blessed to have you by my side. These next few months will be hard on us both but I know we'll get through it like we always have these last 8 years. <3

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
